Organize work
Plan and daily intention
Shape the queue so Brik has better raw material to work with.
Purpose
Plan is where you shape the queue instead of only reacting to it. It helps you keep the system pointed at what matters today, while still showing the bigger sequence by track and cluster.
When to use it
Use Plan when:
- Brik feels directionless because the queue is stale
- you want to define what matters today in one sentence
- you need to edit task details, not just execute them
- one cluster of work needs to be reshaped without rebuilding everything
Step-by-step flow
- Open Plan.
- Set your Daily intention with a short sentence about what matters most today.
- Use the track filter if you want to see only one work lane.
- Read the current plan reasoning at the top of the page.
- Review Plan by track and the clusters inside each track.
- Edit task cards when content, status, duration, energy, or track assignment no longer fit reality.
- Use Replan cluster when one area of work needs reshaping.
- Use Full replan when the whole queue feels stale or misaligned.
What Brik is doing in the background
Brik uses your Daily intention, the current queue, and the existing grouping by track and cluster to keep recommendations anchored in what matters now. Replans help Brik rebuild sequence and emphasis without asking you to manually reorder everything.
Common gotchas and reassurance
- Daily intention is not another task. It is a focus sentence that helps Brik lean the queue in the right direction.
- Use Replan cluster when the problem is local. Use Full replan when the whole system feels off.
- You do not need a perfectly clean plan before using Today again.
- If editing a few task cards feels easier than replanning, do that first.
